Nov. 4  Fri  12.00 a.m.  Arrival chefs and group visitors from the

                                    Netherlands. Welcome drink at Sunset Beach bar.

                   18.00 p.m  Chefs are present at the Boardwalk festivities

                                    organized by the SXM Harbour Group and Tourist

                                    Bureau.

                                    There is lots of entertainment, performances,

                                    foods and drinks on the boardwalk. Fete de la Cuisine

                                    will host a guavaberry and potato pudding contest.

                                    Also an Italian evening in the tent ”BELLA ITALIA”

                                    with fine foods and wines from Italy. We kindly invite

                                    you to “ BELLA ITALIA” tent on the beach across from the

                                    Holland House hotel.

 

Nov. 5 Sat   18.30 p.m. OPENINGS COCKTAIL AND DINNER PARTY OF

                                    FETE DE LA CUISINE.

                                    The chefs of the Holland House Hotel, the residence hotel of

                                    the visiting chefs, will prepare a 4 course signature dinner.

                                    Come and start with a delicious cocktail before dinner, while

                                    listening to the thrilling sound of steel pan music.

                                    Before dinner you can view the prize winning paintings of the

                                    Art Competition : The Queen, seen from a Caribbean pers-

                                    pective. The winners of the competition will be announced during

                                    dinner These paintings will be auctioned and the proceeds will go

                                    towards the education of our youth.

                       

Nov. 6 Sun   10.00 p.m.  Boat trip on a catamaran along the beautiful  coast of St.Maarten

                                     with opportunity to swim and snorkel.

                  

                    12.00 p.m. Champagne brunch at Westin hotel in Dawn Beach for those

                                     who get seasick.                   

     

 

                    19.00 p.m. Culinary outing to Maho area. Choose from different types of

                                     restaurants.

                                     * Tasting menu Le Moulin Fou   (French cuisine)                       

                                     *  Bamboo Bernies ( Japanese)

                                     *  La Rosa Too ( Italian)

                                     *  Temptations

                       

                    10.00 p.m.  Night life.

                                     Try to earn your dollars back at Casino Royale or simple relax

                                      and enjoy nice piano music in the Sopranos Club.

                                     The more energetic  visitors can dance the night away in disco

                                     Tantra or Bliss.

 

Nov. 7 Mon   12.00 p.m. Culinary students of the Sundial students and some Dutch chefs

                                     prepare a lunch for invited guests; The governor of SXM, the prime

                                     minister and other dignitaries will receive an invitation.

                                     Proceeds of this dinner will go towards a worthy cause.

 

                     19.00 p.m. Walk / dine around program in 3 top restaurants in the

                                      gastronomic center of the French side, Grand Case.

                                      Participants will be divided over 3 restaurants which are within

                                      walking distance from each other.  The guests will savor the

                                      entrée at the first restaurant, then move on for the main course

                                      to another and dessert will be served at a third venue.  

 

Nov. 8 Tue   12.00 p.m.  Wine tasting lunch with Alliance chefs at wine house Bacchus.

                                     Wine house Bacchus is the largest importer of wines in the North

                                      Eastern  Caribbean region. Fine dishes will be paired with

                                      exciting wines. Don’t miss out on this marvellous this event.  

 

                    16.00 p.m.   Finish off the afternoon at Calmos Café on the beach in Grand

                                      Case. Enjoy the beautiful of the island of Anguilla and the sunset.

                         

 

               20.00 p.m.  Salsa the evening away at La Bamba on the Simpson bay beach,           

                                        or have a cool drink at Soggy Dollar or Red Piano’s.

 

Nov.9th Wed   11.00 a.m.  Alliance/ Fete de la Cuisine regatta.

                                        Join the chefs for an exciting sailing trip on 12 meter yachts

                                        that participated in the America’s cup race.

                                        The trip ends with a rum party and snacks made by culinary

                                        students of Sundial school.

 

                       18.30 p.m. *Lobster Fest at the mini club in Marigot.

                                         A tradition for more than 40 years.

                                        This restaurant is known worldwide for it’s lobster buffet.

                                         Enjoy as many lobsters as you consume prepared in different

                                         styles. And if lobster is not your favorite dish, don’t worry.

                                         There are enough other specials  with fish and meat that you

                                          will enjoy. And there is enough wines to go with the dishes.

Nov.10th Thu  09.00 a.m   * Play a round of golf at Mullet Bay.

                                        * Energize your body with a visit to the Princess Port de

                                           Plaisance Spa and Fitness center.

              

                18.30 p.m.  * Fete de la Cuisine Grand Cocktail and Dinner Party at

                                           House Hotel.

                                           This 6 course dinner is the crown event of Fete de la Cuisine.

                                           The 6 visiting chefs will each prepare  a signature dish

                                            with a wine of their choice. There is a limited amount of seats

                                            so make reservations on time.

 

Nov.11th Fri  12.00 p.m.    * Fete de la Cuisine St.Maarten’s Day beach party at

                                             Karakter in Simpson Bay.

                                             Compete with a team of 7 persons in games like canoe

                                             racing, pole climbing, sling shooting, tug of war etc.

                                             Price to participate is $ 200,- per team. Part of this amount

                                             will be donated to a school to purchase a digital school board.                    

                                             There are prizes for the winning teams and a bottle of

                                             champagne for all participating teams.

                                             King Beau Beau will be on hand to shake up the party.

                                                                 

                          

Nov.12  Sat  19.00 p.m.  * Farewell dinner party at Pasanggrahan hotel in

                                         Philipsburg.

                                         It’s time to say “ au revoir and see you next year again for the  

                                         Fete”.

                                         Come and enjoy this send off party with a marvelous

                                         dinner prepared  by chef Tiny and with music by Tanny & the

                                         Boys.

         

Nov.13th Sun 10.30 a.m.     Early check in for visitors leaving for                               

                                         Amsterdam.

 

                     11.30 a.m     Last cocktail at Sunset Beach bar.
